Yeah, but that’s the point. Even tho I absolutely cannot stand the white whine served up by Dunham, she does have enough clout w HBO to have done whatever series she wanted. It's completely her fault for pitching her tent in this campground (leave me alone, I'm hungover).

Scorsese has NEVER ‘lost the plot'. He's only the most consistently great filmmaker, of all time.

Yeah. I’ve been a long time fan of Star Wars. The prequels are pretty bad, but I’ve had enough time to appreciate the better aspects of them & love the series they spawned. I love TFA, and while it’s beats are clearly inspired by ANH, it brings back the spirit of adventure & joy of the original series, as well. TLJ

Uhm. Yeah. That’s me. I do like most of Zack Snyder’s (actual) films. But, I’m not crazy about it. If you don’t like them, fine. And, if you like TLJ, fine. But, TLJ I saw was a ludicrous series of events that made no sense & didn’t really add up to a real plot (unless you count a long space chase, w brief stop overs

You're high, Public Enemies is fuckin' brilliant.

You are so wrong. Public Enemies is a great fuckin' movie!

SSeriously?! The movie is just bad. Not in some bullshit anti-SJW way, just in a bad movie way. It's full of dumb. I HATE that I can't say that wo being seen as some weird internet creep.

I dunno. I’ve envisioned some sort of, insane, over-the-top, mid-80's Schwarzenegger flick; crossed w, like, peak-80's/Cannon/Chuck Norris/Gymkata flick. Lots of killing of innocent bystanders, and a lot of weird sex w their 'Deep Throat' contacts.

Just seek out Quark & the Feranghi Rules of Acquisition, on DS9, to cure you of that.

Some of the greatest things, in the world, were written on drugs. I find that to be more of a positive, than a negative.

I apologize. For I can’t *EVEN* w this bullshit. Have you been following comic book adaptations, lately? ‘Cause they’re KILLING IT, and the more ‘comic booky’ a project is, the better. We’re living in a, NEW GOLDEN AGE, and the more we enjoy it, the better the results, better the films. Just look @ the A24. They

FAKE NEWZ, LIBRULL MEDEA, CUXS, SNOWFLEKAS & WIENURS OF EARFH: We, the great and POWURFULLY GreAt WHiTE MEN!!?, have blessed you stoopid ANIMLULZ w Jesus, GodD, His HollynesS ST TRUMP!?! (SUCK ON LIBTARDS YOU JUST HATE HOW AWESOME AND SoopER Tuff and awesome and powerFULL HE IS AND HOW GREAT HE’S MAKING AMERIKA

Wait a minute...

I’m only going to waste my time here, for a minute, to say that there are WAY more people who simply don’t like TLJ because it’s a bad movie, not because of any weird ‘SJW’ shit or because ‘girls are in SW now’ (they’ve always been! and, most people like that!). It’s just a dumb film, w a dumb plot & dumb characters.

This totally reminds of the early-to-mid 90's indie films & music videos. The vaguely ska band, the stop-motion-esque camera work & the slight story on which to hang all of the above on. Being in the East Coast indie scene, from '94-2002, this brings back a lot of fun memories.

That's absurd. As one who found Aaron Sorkin to be an occasional a-hole, his filmography is enviably excellent. I mean, A Few Good Men is an excellent film w infinite rewatchability. Moneyball is one of the greatest films ever made about the business of baseball. Charlie Wilson's War is a fantastically underrated

Uhm, whut? Comedy & violence are like peanut butter & chocolate. Three Stooges. Spike Jonze (OG & NG). Cornetto Trilogy. Return of the Living Dead. Etc, etc, etc. Perhaps you don’t have the constitution to handle this sort of comedy, but you’re sadly missing out on the best sort of comedy: Commedia Dell'Anarchy.

Yeah, after reading this I was righteously indignant. Life is too short for Ricky Gervais’, ungodly awful, Life is Too Short; but Eastbound & Down is comedy gold.

Indeed! Eastbound & Down is pure bliss. Not every episode & plot line is gold, but the series as a whole certainly is.

IIndeed! That dude isn’t NEARLY as good as his reputation suggests. He penned MANY a glorious action film, but after the success of his memorable directorial debut, Kiss Kiss! Bang Bang!, he’s become too self-consciously ‘Shane Black’. Iron Man 3 is a dumpster fire of tired Christmas motifs, magical kids w magical
