Does it offend you when people aren’t easily murdered?

Well, Barry Obama’s own CDC study showed that there are 3,000,000+ Defensive Gun Use incidents annually.

No, a conservative’s dream is people having the right to defend themselves so public mass murders aren’t easily carried out.

Only a man aka Brendan Tighe would come up with a crazy story like that.”

The election is over man. Why blame Clinton and all her flaws and her truly horrendous campaign when you have a scapegoat to beat. Why not try to figure out why so many Democrats were de-energized in 2016?

Look, I don’t like them either, but that’s normal in high-end restaurants.

Wow, I thought this article was swift to judgement on what is really an ambiguous case when you look at what few details are available to the public right now, but the comments section is much, much worse. The court of public opinion getting to be as bad as if not worse our actual justice system; at least in the

Lots and lots of people plead guilty for things they didn’t do (for example). Something to the effect of 95% of criminal charges are resolved via plea bargain. It’s one of the many reasons that our criminal legal system is an abject disaster.

One reason to think a plea was coerced is that apparently the prosecutor was trying to charge him as an adult. I can’t think of a good faith reason to do that unless you’re trying to force a plea.

Who are these people demanding redemption? Nobody drafted him. One single GM expressed interest in signing him, but hasn’t done so. Not even a single team in the Independent league has expressed interest in him. His own coach has said that he is unsignable.

Isn’t something messed up when the best course of action for a presumed innocent person is to admit to being a child molester?

I agree with all of what you said. That said, I still don’t understand the point of this article and it has a clear biased agenda.

First of all, if I remember correctly, Laremy Tunsil’s pot video came out the night before the draft or even day of. That’s a lot of information for a team to process, so he fell down. The

This brings us back to his impossible-to-ignore forgiveness tour. Earlier this year, Heimlich was profiled by the gilded gatekeepers of the New York Times and SI, where he was given ample space to say he is not sorry and never did anything wrong. The girl’s mother’s adamant insistence that Heimlich did do the crime

So, I guess he should be forced into exile? How much more does he need to be punished in your eyes beyond the punishment deemed appropriate by the justice system?

Diana seems to think we need more people in jail, despite by far the highest incarceration rate on earth.

I don’t mind your cynicism about sports offering forgiveness so long as you’re sufficiently talented. I do mind your assumption, based merely on a guilty plea, that you have all of the facts, such that a denial of a prosecutor’s narrative is outrageous. You might be right, I’m not sure, but as others have noted,

has never publicly admitted to anything, never apologized, or even strongly suggested regret

Innocent people plead guilty to get out of jail all the time.

But yeah, humanity has some problems.
