Neutral: Will American Sedans Rebound?

The Focus ST is by most accounts an excellent hot hatch, but numerous owners commented that they have a tendency to cook their brakes on track. The brake actuated torque vectoring that's great on the road probably isn't doing anyone any favors on the track.

Very similar to prices when I bought mine back in May. Mine is an ST1 (didn't want the Recaros) and Ford was offering $3k to finance through Ford, another $1k for conquest, and some Sync n Sound discount. My out the door price (prior to trade in equity) was $19,700. With as much in rebates as they offered, my main

That's what happened a few years back with my Taco/Tundra shopping. I went to look at a Double Cab Taco, and drove home in a CrewMax Tundra. Out the door price on the Tundra was cheaper, they wouldn't deal much on the Taco, put just kept piling on incentives on the Tundra.

There are 3 high school aged kids in my neighborhood with tCs. All are new, and my guess would be that their parents purchased the vehicles for them. That would also skew the average ago of a Scion purchaser. Not saying it's the norm, though.

1.) Honda CRX

I hope I like this truck. I really do. I also hope it doesn't dig into Silverado price range, with the heavy discounts on full size. I can see myself in one of these next year, but only if I can get one at a competitive price. Otherwise, much like I did with my intended Taco purchase that ended up a Tundra, I could

Roughly a year after the soft-top goes on sale, Mazda will release a hardtop MX-5 that will have a unique, fastback-style silhouette, Automotive News has been told.

Hopefully the wheel lock key is kept in the car. Rent ST-H, swap wheels. They'll look great on my Tuxedo Black.

No hatch, no Saab.

Yes. With my trade, there ended up being no tax. Rebates at the time were $3500. I got another $1k for a lease conquest. So that $4500 before we even talked any other numbers. ST1 is around $24500, or something right around there.

My ST1 was $19,700 out the door (not counting trade equity). ST3s in the 24/25k range. Those are advertised prices prior to negotiating. At least that's the market for them in Denver.

Good deals on either car right now. I went with the Focus for the extra space and good price.

Hopefully, these haven't shot through the roof in 4 years time, which is my current timeframe to replace the Miata. I sat in a coupe once, and didn't quite fit. Since I've learned to contort my frame to fit into small vehicles, I hope to give it another shot. The roadster needs no contortion, though.

I took rebates in lieu of 0% on my ST. Back in May, it was 0% for 60 months, or $3000 in rebates. At 1.9% over 4 years (with trade equity), interest will be $589.09. I'll take the extra $2410.91. Granted, to get 1.9, it required a refi. Ford Credit's interest rates that you get when you get the rebates are high

According to Ford's site, yes.

This is a test of the Grey. This is only a test. *crosses fingers

The only person I'd think to correct is one that may some day place hands on my car to work on it. And if they're incorrect before they work on the car, I move on. Granted, I do my own work, and I'm wrong a LOT.

Most people should realize it wasn't the skyway. I mean, come on...SNOW on the ground. I know it's the great white north and all, but it does get above freezing in August.
