Hard top issues, not soft top.

It’s been rumored for a while that it would potentially be revealed at the LA show. Makes sense as ordering for them opens up in January/February.

I’m a double fake scooper! Well, was, now that I’ve sold the Cougar.

I gave up on my Cougar. I had big plans, but a small budget. Rust issues in the rear quarters, cleverly hidden by the car color, was the end for me. I made a little bit on it when I sold it, but had I fixed what needed to be fixed, I would’ve easily been underwater. It wasn’t a labor of love, as the Cougar is a cool

Agreed. I should’ve replaced them sooner.

Yes, Colorado. This is the first set of tires I’ve had rot out like this, though. At least, this quickly.

Dunlop Grandtrek AT20s, came stock on my Tacoma Sport.

Or you can notice dry rotting/weather cracking after 3 years. Date code on these tires is 0415. 24k on them.

In reality, nobody “needs” any personal vehicle.

Weather means I wouldn’t bring the Cougar, but if you somehow manage to make it, I’ll try and stay awake to swing by. Not too far away from me. Heck since you’re already driving, just swing by my hour. I’ve got plenty of beer, but not a lot of charming atmosphere.

I took my son to hockey in the Cougar this weekend. At times it felt like I was in a cruise heading to a car show. Lots of old iron out this past weekend!

I get up and shower, then walk my son to school. Half mile walk each way, so it gets me out for 20 minutes or so. Get back, get a cup of coffee and start my day. It’s (the walk to school) also a great afternoon break for the dreaded late afternoon slump.

I thought the same thing. Leader gets punted and it wasn’t even mentioned for a good 10 minutes on the Fox broadcast. Even then, a quick replay, a quick blurb from Jeff Gordon, and they moved on.

For all the genuflecting at the alter of Sr, he sure was a dirty driver. I don’t like seeing the 3 back in victory lane.

That’s what I have on the Tacoma. I’ve since added a locking tonneau, which makes it a bit tougher as well.

The comment section has been good market research. I should sell my Cougar now before the market for the car all dies off.

I did a 5000 mile road trip this summer and purchased the 6 month Sirius XM subscription just for the trip. I ended up listening to the comedy channels for a good portion of the trip.

I was just watching the news when the COGCC commissioner commented that even though they knew of the methane issues, they didn’t notify the public because the science didn’t support that it would be an issue, or something along those lines. Yeah, tell that to the family whose house lifted what, 10-20 feet off its

Plenty of places in Colorado when the economics and population favor healthy folks that are heavily impacted (or soon to be impacted) by large scale fracking operations. I can’t speak to Pennsylvania locations, but in CO, fracking is increasingly moving into upper middle class suburban neighborhoods.

Cool. So the residential fracking sprawl in Colorado suburbs, we have nothing to worry about here. I’m excited about the 100+ wells scheduled to be drilled in my community, all within about a 5 mile radius of my sure to be quickly depreciating home.
