There are benefits to an EV outside of the idea (and facts) about being a greener option.  Its these points that detractors love to ignore.  But I am noticing that people are starting to come around on EVs and that is interesting to watch.

Theres a blue one and a white one by me, and now that I think about it I always happen to see them around the Morena Costco.  I really like the blue.

There are a few in my local area in San Diego that I occasionally see. Every time I see them I am disappointed they didnt succeed.

Thanks for the info!

Check these out. There are a few companies that are doing it there already. They would need to be bigger batteries, of course, but the groundwork is already being laid.

Seconded

What cruise line did you take?  I know that can be a major factor.

I just feel like I would look up at the enormous cloud of exhaust and feel like I really shouldnt be doing this. I’ve seen the ships outside the bay in Cabo and when they get going its so gross. I’m not necessarily a “green” person, but that just seems a bit much.

I hate everything about cruises but my kids see ads for them and beg to go.  Whenever I get the tiniest inkling of caving, I am surrounded with reminders that no, I will never go on a cruise.

A) I do not believe a single instance of his experiences, much less in a single day.

My parents have the Ioniq 5 so I’ve driven it a bit.  I dont feel like I’m driving an SUV (which is all I currently have).  The storage space with the rear seats folded down feels pretty ample but it depends on your needs.  The lease deals on them right now are nuts too, so you could sell your Model 3 and drive the

GMs offerings look quite good, too. I agree.

Its not really a wagon, but whats your thoughts on the Rivian R3?  Seems like itll be as close as we get for a while to that.

If you find yourself in a “sketch part of town” at 2AM often enough to be worried about it, then thats either a you problem or something you can plan around.  Thats called personal responsibility!

I calls ‘em Beaver Teeth.

Wait until the happy little crab sees its price tag.

Good lord.  If I lived anywhere that had snow... the debt that I would happily go into for this...

So true about the mowing!

Funny that we are in very similar situations. Our older car is a 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid and while it has 245k miles on it, it just got a brand new hybrid battery for $2600 and drives like new and back up to 30mpg. That car has needed shockingly little maintenance over the 180k miles I have put on it myself. For a
