I think its more the other power literally saying it is feeding off her power and her kids powers. Yo’Magic...... Your Magic that he is eating
Re: Vision disintegrating, the last we saw of him in the security video, he was in pieces, so it’s not really so strange that there might be parts of him that are entirely illusion and can’t survive outside of the hex. There’s really no telling what condition he’s in outside of Wanda’s influence. That doesn’t mean…
SWORD is only tracking vision and that’s telling.
I honestly don’t think Feige is interested in any of the Fox X-Men characters (besides Deadpool, who’s a whole other deal) and that the Peters casting is just a nod to that “other” Pietro. Same thing as Wanda saying “Kick ass.” Or Wanda, Vizh, and Pietro dressing like their 1960s Avengers selves. (I especially dug…
> I feel like Agnes is as much a victim as everyone else in the town right now. I mean, the scene with her talking to Vision seems to confirm that
Same. SWORD is only tracking vision and that's telling.
I think Vision is very much real, otherwise Hayward wouldn’t be so interested in him. He might not be alive or animate without Wanda, so that’s an open question, but Wanda did steal Vision’s body and Hayward is tracking that with interest. It’s also kind of a weird take, in my opinion, to say that characters who are…
This episode actually started to turn me more in the “sinister force” camp than I was, though not controlling her. Those red eyes seemed to be too much (though maybe I just don’t remember them from before).
That lovely shot of Vision rising into the night sky and surveying the town reminds me that he’s the closest thing the MCU has to a Superman.
Not so sure about that, at least in terms of a “big bad.” I think that’s too simplistic for what the show is going for; Wanda’s clearly in control of the hex, but not fully (seems like an Abed’s Uncontrollable Christmas situation with powers). Plus vilifying female characters with trauma is...stale?
It's interesting how this week's commercial implies that the people on the outskirts of town are wasting away towards death. Just as the kid stranded on the island can't open the yogurt and starves to death, the inactive people can't feed or care for themselves and are slowly dying.
I think that Agnes might actually be Agatha Harkness, but I suspect Wanda sought her out (as in the comics) and eventually lost her self-control in her desire to fix her reality.
I’m still in the “she’s being manipulated camp” for now. She genuinely doesn’t seem to know how all of this started and the opening credits theme song makes it sound like something else is behind it.
The only way that a food item called Choco’s isn’t chocolate is acceptable is if it is made using certified 100% Chocobo meat.
You found a Jesus allegory in the corn Soufle . . . thanks Zack!
How much do I have to pay to watch a Snyder fan eat this while watching the Snyder Cut? Can you imagine the tears that will flow when Batman kills Supermom because Martha is actually her middle name while you try your first mouthful of Ocean Trench?
You understand, Mr. Bricken, that, as a responsible journalist, the next logical step in your coverage is to order, sample and review these theme-meals.
I suspect it runs off of the mystery box business model of calling around warehouses and buying up slow moving stock at a steep discount.
“Trench dressing” gives me mental images that are not exactly appetizing.
