Ugh, I’m sorry, my father does this. My mother and siblings and I are SO EMBARASSED. So embarassed. I waited tables for years and even told him it was an asshole thing to do.

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCKING SHIT
My friend’s fiancé was once like ‘Hohoho, if you rape a prostitute, is it rape or shoplifting, hohoho’ and I practically shouted ‘It’s rape, sex with someone who does not or cannot consent is rape, please stop talking immediately’.
If you don’t understand tennis, remember these simple rules:
I have been turned away from a salon and was told that they only served women because their female clientele preferred a place where women could get together, get their hair cut and relax with other women and talk. I have no problem with this as sometimes men and women just want to be around people of the same gender…
I’m not ashamed to say I don’t know.
Their car insurance costs more, and they die sooner (of course dying sooner also means whatever they’ve saved for retirement buys more in the time they’re alive). That’s all I have.
That’s so July. The cool kids are going to Stone & Strand Folliculerie; it’s a Paleo Barbershop that combines artisanal flint knapping with asymmetric 80’s hairstyles.
*Goes to mailbox*
What would that even look like? I honestly can’t imagine. Every woman i’ve ever seen has long flowing hair that she puts up in rollers at night before slathering on a clay mask and eating bon-bons. Would a barbershop for Real Men even have tools capable of cutting a woman’s woman hair? I doubt it.
Yes, Chicago Male! I totally remember that episode and Pearl from Rupaul’s Drag Race worked there.
Tabatha Coffey had a show with a similarly “themed” males-only shop here in Chicago, albeit in Boystown. She showed them how much money they could make by taking women too. She left the salon with the idea they would continue with the new format. I am not sure if they were still doing it by the time she did the update…
I agree totally.
I would say that cool pope is fairly representative of his generation on this issue. My parents are around the same age and they and their friends are generally liberal and progressive except where trans rights are concerned. I think, like gay marriage, most people will come around eventually on trans rights.
couldn’t you download and then burn a CD for your friend? do people still do that? i am old :(
Anyone tried ASMR? That stuff is legit, it can put me to sleep in the middle of a coffee high.
“Like a good neighbor, state farm is there.”

This is super helpful, I appreciate this!
I’m a wedding vendor (a florist) and the answer is actually, kind of, #6. Every bride (yes, even the lentil brides) has a vision for her wedding, and we have no idea what that is until we talk to you. Like your example of 8 succulent boutonnieres— off the top of my head, I’d quote you $45/each. But if I told you that…
Oh, yay! It’s time for my favorite game, “Face Swap! Who wore it better?”
I mean... they both know this is the worst thing she’s ever worn in public, right? This is funny for them? Or something?
