New Jersey’s one saving grace is that the Turnpike makes it as easy as humanly possible to sail right through that toxic waste dump. Which is more than I can say for other nonsense states like Connecticut, the New Jersey of New England.

New Jersey is a fucking dump, but its one saving grace is that the Turnpike makes it as easy as humanly possible to escape the dump as fast as humanly possible. Comparing it to the BW Parkway is like comparing Acela to a horse and buggy.
Wrong 20-something MVP-caliber player. But you do you, I guess.
Don’t the Nationals need a closer and a center fielder more than they need another starter?
Yea, we’re just heartbroken to still have the MVP-caliber 23-year old still on the roster rather than an improvement to the 2-pot of the rotation.
The asshole Nationals fans on staff were whining this morning about giving up prospects for an actual dominant workhorse starter, and they deserve to never win anything ever.
100% OK with this if it means the Nats can now seal the deal on McCutchen.
Harper will get paid what he’s worth, and he’ll probably look great in a Yankees uniform.
When they realized men could be sexually liberated too.
Also, even though the Yankees are Cowboys are billion-dollar enterprises, they do not play a globally widespread sport a la soccer or basketball
In fact, Cuba’s economy is a third larger than several of its Latin American counterparts, again in spite of a brutal embargo
Costa Rica seems like a pretty appropriate comparable, with a literacy rate just shy of 98% and a healthcare system that was actually ranked ahead of Cuba’s by the WHO in 2000, despite facing arguably more severe challenges with malaria. Jamaica’s literacy rate is definitely behind the curve (only around 88%), but the…
Clinton spent more time at Hamilton than she did in Wisconsin. To claim she couldn’t have done more is ludicrous.
Cuba can trade with every other country on Earth right now (and indeed, gets preferential treatment from some quarters as a response to the embargo). A U.S.-only embargo is simply not enough to cripple their economy, because it is primarily based around commodity exports that just end up going to Canada and Europe…
So outsourcing crimes against humanity makes it different somehow?
Reagan funding coups in Central America is still different than if he had rounded up gays for summary execution in the woods, even if both were morally reprehensible. I really don’t see why this is such a difficult concept.
1. Castro’s revolution replaced a dictatorship. Cuba was never a democracy. Castro’s revolution only changed which people benefited from dictatorship.
And killing someone who wants to kill you is different than killing someone who happens to disagree with you.
Killing is killing is killing.
And have far less blood on their hands than any American president.
