That makes perfect sense.
That makes perfect sense.
My husband *hates* scary movies and I’ve really been insisting that he see this one. He hates them so much that he makes me watch them on the Ipad with earbuds in so he won’t have to hear any spooky noises. But I think I have to put my foot down and force him to watch Get Out. It’s too good to miss.
Christopher Plummer!
Agreed on Better Call Saul. It is so well written.
Get Out was SO good. Uggghh.
Andre Braugher is so great. As is Nick Offerman. How do they not get all the awards?
Will and Grace over Better Call Saul! Not ok.
I just finished Charlotte Gray’s The Massey Murder and The Annex was fashionable even then, in 1915.
I listened to the Edmonton police press conference a few months ago about how they arrested the man who drove a truck into some innocent pedestrians, and it was really amazing to hear. They made the decision to chase him, managed to do some sort of difficult manoeuvre that caused him to roll his truck, then, I think,…
Your grandpa sounds awesome.

A kids’ show from one million years ago
I’m mad that Russell Crowe is a thing. He should not be. His Javert was a travesty.
It makes me think of Romper Room, which adds a whole new level of weirdness to his tale.
Your son sounds awesome! Mine is only four but he often brings home “girl books” from his school library and I’m so proud. One of them is called “I am a Girl!” and celebrates this little girl’s achievements and what makes her awesome. I hope my guy is like yours in four years.
Thank you! It is such rewarding work. Also, I never write his name either. I post the names of the women every year on Fb too. This year I saw that Bob Rae posted their names and their faces and it just gutted me.
I’m not sure if you’re Canadian or not, but today is also the 100th anniversary of the Halifax explosion, and when I heard the Heritage Minute over the radio today I legitimately started crying. December 6th is rough.
JESUS
I have volunteered on the Board of a women’s shelter for the last five years and this year feels really momentous. December 6th is a tough day but I also feel like we’re making progress. We can do this.
