I’m Canadian and I read it when it first came out.  I loved it, and I actually didn’t ugly sob the way I did when I read All My Puny Sorrows.  It’s a great book.

Something similar happened to me.  My doctor picked up on my flat affect and we got my PPD/A sorted out quickly.  I thought that I was just exhausted and would feel better once I started sleeping more, but I didn’t.  I’m so glad she caught it when she did.

I am also Team Blue Method, but I have a friend who puts the bra on backwards, but then also inside out, so that she can bring it around to the front AND THEN flip it upwards onto the boobs.  What is this about?!?

I have a friend who puts the bra on backwards but ALSO inside out, so that she can turn it around, AND THEN FLIP IT UP AND ONTO THE BOOBS. My mind was blown the first time I saw this performed.

It’s so upsetting.  I can’t really enjoy him on Parks and Rec for that reason.  Yuck.

I’m one of those people who got married less than a year after meeting my husband, and it did work out but looking back I’m like WHAT WAS I THINKING?! I hardly knew that guy! He could have been a serial killer!  It all worked out, but geez.

That is so weird! Why were they so invested in your fiance buying you a new ring? How does that affect their lives?  People are strange.

I’m also Canadian. My husband has hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and needs an internal pacemaker/defibrillator. He’s on his second one (at age 38) and in the U.S. it would cost us $40,000 each time.  And that isn’t counting regular doctor visits and check ups and echocardiograms etc.  We’re SO grateful to live here.

Yeah, it sounded to me like Nancy was really angry to no longer be the only child and took all of her resentment out on Pam.  Poor thing.  I love that Pam remembered every meal she ever ate.  That is such a funny superpower.
