Can you get Dog n Suds in anything other than the bomber-esque bottle these days? I only see it locally in 22 oz versions.

Earlier comments make this much less important, but both the hard and soft versions have been available in Chicago for a few years now.
“HCFC?” (See #9) Was that a typo for “HFCS” or am I missing something?
Oh, yeah. Axis & Allies: the game that I could get through maybe two turns of before all my friends had to go home for the night. I don’t think I ever finished that game until it went digital and I could play against 4 computer opponents.
Damn straight on the thick metal shovel blade. I used to use two of them as a kid—one straight-edged and the other spade-shaped—for different levels of shitty ice underneath the easily-removed snow. Those things will blow right through the frozen tire treads on your driveway.
When a strong storm hit Chicago last year the night before the Super Bowl, I was one of the few people shoveling snow while it was coming down. Since our HOA’s snow-removal system wouldn’t have reacted until Monday at the earliest, it was the only way I was going to be able to leave for work come Monday morning.
Well, if a blizzard did hit the Midwest there would at least be stories running on the national news networks about how the East Coast is bracing for the blizzard that’s currently over the Midwest.
Sling TV’s best selling point might be the fact that it streams ESPN’s 1 and 2 along with TNT, so right there you’re getting access to a lot of live sports without the cable subscription. It remains to be seen whether ESPN can force the cost for Sling’s basic package up like it has been able to do with cable rates.
Few things are more annoying to have to move than a stuffed book case. I have some paperbacks that I won’t trade in for e-versions, but spreading a decent-sized collection of books over 6-10 boxes in order to move was a real PITA.
I wasn’t terribly enthused about the shield, but now that I’ve heard about it splitting in two I’ve moved to hating it. They couldn’t come up with anything better than the old “pure energy” shield idea?
Gawker’s own Lifehacker covered the ear-piercing whistle using only one hand about 4 years ago. Check it out here: http://lifehacker.com/5892152/top-10…
I’m not sure I agree with your premise that only championship victories can be used to determine a coach’s value. He’s won a hair under 60% of his career regular season games, which I think would make most people call him a good coach. Wins get butts in seats, and that’s what brings in money for the owners.
What sort of IRA do you have that gives you unlimited access to the money invested within it? Unless you’re defining “access” to mean “the ability to choose where to invest” you clearly know something I don’t and I’d love to know what that is.
How the hell are cookies that taste like shit the Gametime Snack of the Week? I thought we wanted good snacks to go with our 5-throwgasm games.
That’s house money, right? No better place to blow it.
Or just one moron who can’t do long division and a bunch of other people who are virtue-signalling.
There’s a book out from a guy that has actually used that strategy to win scratch-off lotteries in his state more than once. It’s a bit more money-intensive, but the odds of a decent payoff are reasonable when you stick to the games where the main prize is still out there.
That’s assuming you know (of) an accountant or financial advisor with the skill and experience to handle that sort of estate. How many professional athletes do we hear about that get screwed over by some advisor and lose several million dollars after they retire?
Well, the schools involved and their conferences do get a payout that has to be related in some way to the financial success of the game, so if no one watched the game on TV and attendance sucked too, those NYE bowls might have lower payouts in coming years.
Does anyone know if that was a thing before Vegas Vacation, or did the movie create the game?
