I have blogger fatigue.
I have blogger fatigue.
I tried to clarify that I think that in the hierarchy of embarrassing things, mommy bloggers are way worse than sex bloggers, but it doesn't matter: I am a sex hater horrible person 4 lyfe now. Anyway, the author replied and was actually very nice, so there is that, in spite of the angry mobs.
Like I said, I just hope all these bloggers are super open with their kids about it before it is found out by others... and on the scale of mortifying, mommy blogger who blogs about her kids' bowel movements is much WORSE than sex blogger, so it is not an anti-sex thing at all.
Thank you! And...I had to laugh when I first saw the trailer because the woman talking about being light was...not. Which is weird.
I don't want to minimize because I'm sure there are issues that come with being light-skinned, but worrying not being cast as Angela Bassett's daughter does not merit sad piano music.
Light Girls is pure bullshit. It's talking about colorism as if lighter women have the same complaints as darker women. This is untrue in life, and untrue in the acting world.
pinot grigio is my go to in general. but i like salty dogs, too! which is grapefruit juice and vodka with a salted rim. i think i will get some vodka bc i got my mom a citrus juicer and we have grapefruits at home.
Miss "I am every color under the rainbow and every ethnicity other than black— look I have good hair" Symone is so full of shit. Tanning is not remotely the same as bleaching. There must have been some piss poor lighting techs on her show if they couldn't light her skin properly. Light skinned people are darker on…
I've missed you, Tits! I got laid off a little over a year ago and did a little bit of downward spiraling, but I'm back! And I'm employed again! And not at Forever 21! (Where I worked for about 2 months this year before quitting with three hours' notice. I'll tell you all about it some time, it is truly Satan's…
you write fan fic...cmon
Oh Madeleine, you don't take your legal drinking age into Hollywood afterparties, either. The legal drinking age there is "can you afford to be there?"
Vodka soda, I bet.
Is the entirety of Light Girls just actresses lamenting about not getting parts because they weren't dark enough? I honestly can't help notice that it features a ton of celebrities whereas Dark Girls interviews came mostly from mere plebs.
IDK, Globes afterparty with Swift as your chaperone? Seems like a fairly safe place for a little teenage alcohol experimentation.
Can I hazard a guess? I imagine it went like this:
Most of Big Eyes was shut out too, which is really disappointing.
Bet you 10:1 the academy feels that black people "got their due" last year with 12 years a slave so there was no need to pretend they give a shit about non-white men this time around. 100% sure that was some of the voters' thought process. Like, Steve McQueen was nominated last year and the 12 years a slave…
A serious question, because I haven't seen it, was Gone Girl an Oscar caliber movie? I haven't heard great things, but I've only heard not actually seen.
I have not seen Into the Woods but, I feel Meryl Streep will always get a nomination for anything she does. She could be sitting on a corner strumming an one string ukulele and still get nominated.
How was Selma nominated for Best Picture but not Best Director, Cinematography, Screenplay?
