I completely forgot that only half of Season 5 had aired...I barely even remembered what happened in the first half! I guess that’s a rather telling sign that perhaps AD should just be truly done at this point.

I dated someone for a short period of time who suffered from BPD, and it did not end well. She was an extremely hard person to live with, and put me through the ringer at times. But you know what, despite the shit that I went through - what she has to deal with on a day to day basis is worse. Do you think someone with…
And this post right here is why social media, especially for someone with a mental illness, is just f*cking awful. Whether Davidson’s plea was real, manipulative, or both, does not justify your harsh words. You are NOT in the moral high ground here, and should feel ashamed of yourself.
Some Hollywood exec out there should let Del Toro do his version of Pacific Rim 2, and just ignore then cursing Pacific Rim 2. I have no idea why Universal didn’t choose to go with Del Toro’s script and went with whatever the hell it was that got made...
*sigh* It looks beautiful to me. But I suppose people have to be up in arms about something.
And Stargate Universe, and Alphas, and The Expanse, and...too many to list :p
I enjoyed this episode as well, I liked that they gave Killer Frost a true origin, and one that actually makes sense (as opposed to DARK MATTER). In addition, I’ve enjoyed what they’ve done with Cicada so far - he’s obviously the big bad of the season, but he’s not taking over the narrative the way past villains have.…
Grr, I had Kinja’s forums - accidentally posted my previous in the wrong thread...and I can’t edit or delete.
But he didn’t go back in time. The timeline of the afterlife is not linear - so Michael didn’t have to go back in time...he just kind of jumped to the right spot if you will.
You should watch him in Maniac on Netflix.
It was actually a pretty fun show for the first few seasons - but starting near the end of Season 4, and pretty much all of Season 5 and 6 just went completely off the rails, and not in a good way. Even the mythology of the show, which was really interesting, got muddled and stupid during the last couple of seasons.
Baby rat, not dead rat. BIG difference.
Yup, and my parents are one of them :p
Considering the amount of time, money and effort HBO has put into it’s plethora of investigative journalism - from shows like Last Week Tonight and VICE to the numerous documentaries it has put out recently to the recent announcement that they have signed a deal with Ronan Farrow (the journalist who helped bring to…
Nope, both aired tonight (but not back to back.)
Honestly, the best thing we can do to convince Amazon to pick up the Expanse is to buy the episodes on Amazon. Season 1 and 2 are included in Prime streaming, but Season 3 is not. The whole season is only $30, which really isn’t a bad price. Perhaps, if enough people purchase the season, it will send a clear message…
You know who should pick this up, CBS. They could add it to their All Access streaming service. You’ve already got a bunch of us nerds paying $6/month for Star Trek (well, at least when it was airing...), adding a second awesome sci-fi show to the mix to up the ante would be a win/win for everyone.
Nothing I’ve read about this show sounds at all appealing. Maybe Amazon should just cancel the show, save a TON of money, and rescue The Expanse instead :p
You should listen to the latest Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me podcast that has H. Jon Benjamin as the guest (usually about the mid-way point of the episode). Wherein one of the panelists asks him to say a line as Archer, and then say the same line as Bob - it’s hillarious and perfectly embodies the “differences” b/w his…
Um...Tessa Thompson??? Bobbie is played by Frankie Adams - who looks nothing like Tessa Thompson.
