Living in Colorado, I can tell you that while this dust storm was extreme, dry weather and wind is very common this time of year. In fact, the winter months in Colorado (Dec - Feb) are actually usually the driest months across the entire state. On top of that, the eastern half of Colorado is pretty much all flat

Fuck you, you anti-semite

Yay for anti-semitism your racist twat.

I really do not see the writers as creating a false equivalency b/w Nazism and liberalism for a number of reason. One, we actually don’t know much about Neuman’s politics outside of her wanting to reign in Vought and supes in general. I guess you could say wanting to reign in a big corporation means she’s liberal, but

Honestly, I’m excited for this. BvS was a complete mess, but the the extended cut was actually a decent amount better. There were stunned interesting ideas in there, style that could’ve been explored more in JL. Unfortunately, if BvS was a me from a storytelling stamping, JL was a complete final mess. There were so

Why is that necessarily a bad thing? Drama doesn’t need to be created by constantly putting your characters at risk. TNG proved that, very rarely was there any real risks for the characters.

You have got to play Horizon Zero Dawn. Yes it’s open world, which makes for some very long game play, and a ton of side missions (that you can easily get lost in), but the main story line is absolutely fantastic. The game itself is gorgeous, and I found myself at times trying to climb to the tallest point in any give

So Picard isn’t the Star Trek you remember, this is no good. Suddenly, here’s a small civilization filled with a ton of old school Star Trek tropes, and suddenly that’s not good either?

There is an interesting juxtaposition between Seven and Picard as far as the Borg are concerned. Picard was forced to join the Borg as an adult, and was actively used to kill people who knew, some who he knew well. Picard is still haunted by his time in the Collective.

Except he really hasn’t been much of an “action” hero in this series. Really, the one scene (way back in the first episode) in which we was running around in any sort of actiony heroey way he was shown to be completely winded. I actually really liked that bit - felt like a statement that this ISN’T your movie action

“Star Trek: Picard is failing its audience.”

Star Trek: Picard is failing its audience.”

Star Trek: Picard is failing its audience.”

“For the first time since the pilot (hell, maybe the first time at all), the show feels like what it always promised to be: a visit with old friends, and maybe some adventure on the side.”

Years ago I was in Seattle with my family. I think we were at Pier 57, we had just gotten some food and I was walking around with some french fries. As I was walking with these fries, a seagull literally landed on my head, stole the entire bag of french fries, and flew off. It was one of those moments that if there

This sounds extremely close to the game “Her Story, but less interactive...

You realize the EXACT same thing happened in the OT. Palpatine was barely mentioned in ANH, briefly shown in ESB, and then killed off in ROTJ, with virtually no back story given. Hell, Palpatine’s name wasn’t even given in the OT. Almost everything we know about Palpatine, at least before the prequel trilogy, was
