Well said. I don’t get down with the coal rolling, my truck isn’t tuned for it. But deleting the DPF/DEF and re-tuning it made it a completely different truck.

Unless it’s like my 2011 Chevy, and the air box is sealed to the passenger side fender and pulls intake air in from the inner fender instead of under the hood...
Lol, I know that’s right
I think you have Kristen Dunst and Jamie Pressly confused - or they’ve both said the same line in different movies...
Reminds me of my second-gen Tundra. Same sort of deal... good looking “generic” and we use that truck to it’s capacity, routinely towing ~7,000 or maybe a little more with it (and hauling stuff, and moving hay, etc...) No soft-roading grocery getter here (well, I mean... it ALSO gets the grocerys - once its chores are…
They flew one in for testing one day at the airstrip across the street from my office. I talked to the test pilots a lunch, nice guys.
Glorious. You win the internet for today. That’s too funny.
My Tundra has held value pretty well, too...
That’s what I’m talking about... I’m looking to “truck up” from my 5.7L equipped Tundra to a 2500 or 3500 HD... Obviously diesel... There are nice used diesel 3500’s to be had for 10 grand less than this. Not that anyone buying a diesel Colorado/Canyon would be cross-shopping 3500’s... but... That’s a LOT more…
Yeah... but...
Say it with me...
Thirty-nine thousand dollars.
Always loved the press photos they released of this car... such great pics of such a polarizing car.
I just came to quote Jack Ryan/Skip Tyler (Hunt for Red October)
Jack Ryan: Could you launch an ICBM horizontally?
Skip Tyler: Sure... why would you want to..?
Oh, they’re the second coming alright... It’s rapture for VW.
He says it’s the most weight they’ve ever hung from a single Super Duty frame...
1. I’d like to know what the previous record is
Interesting that it’s not mentioned anywhere... but...
Turbo Busa’s aren’t exactly rare... however, they’re not usually done up like this. And, I didn’t see any mention of the fact that it’s a TWIN TURBO set up. Can’t say that I’ve ever seen such a thing... very, very cool.
We’ve got a 2011 FLHTK with 19,xxx miles on it... At the same time, I’m typing this on a mac, I’ll check back later on my iphone... :)
Cool... I knew you could’t get the 6.5’ bed on the crew max, wasn’t certain on the 8’.
I’ve got a 2008 Tundra, it’s pretty great. We use it for pulling our camper (33’) and our tandem axle trailer with our tractor and such. It’s been a great truck, though mileage isn’t awesome... We have a Double Cab with the 6.5’ bed - 2wd, SR5.
The Crew Max gets the 5.5’ bed instead of the 6.5’ bed found on the double cab. I don’t believe you can get the Crew Max cab with the 6.5’ bed.
