Unless you have an absolutely enormous lawn, you can’t play either of those games on your lawn, so it seems to me they should be disqualified from consideration.

Croquet is an excellent lawn game. It’s a game of skill, but it’s still approachable enough for beginners. You can play teams, which is fun. It’s within the rules to be an aggressive jackass and smash other players’ balls around the course, which is very fun. Plus you can drink for the 75+% of the game where it’s not…
