I have a science/engineering background - although I confess I have trouble fully comprehending out quantum physics works, but I’ll try to answer your questions:

I still think it’s plausible that they knew all this stuff without using it to look into the future, but it works either way. Forest might just not want to kill tiny girls and they could have easily been on to Sergei beforehand or detected his recording either way.

Forest is a brilliant scientist. Wouldn’t this be the most time-consumingly, incredibly risky, and pointless way to test this hypothesis?

Maybe you should wait until it’s finished, bub.

he just happens to have the personality to “exploit the weakness in the code” so to speak

God, I really hope not. That would be a tremendously disappointing, cliche revelation.

This. Complete miscasting, she does appear to have good chops otherwise.

Wow. Pretty ballsy calling out Garland’s direction. He’s also proven himself in other things. More proof than she has, for sure.

First not-great episode of one of the best shows I’ve seen in awhile. Too much time spent on the least interesting character on the show, Lily, in an attempt to make her more dynamic (20% successful). They could have definitely shaved about 6 minutes over the course of her gaming her coworkers for her little scheme.

The implication here is that the technology can peer into the future: It’s only Forest holding Devs back. What happens if Stewart breaks that rule as well?

Oh god, what a moronic “investigation” and bit. Leave these people alone, they have enough problems if they want to be a part of a pointless club like this. This is why political alt-comedy completely sucks, now. It’s just a bunch of bullies and gossips pretending they’re righteous.

Yes.

It was definitely the most Lionel Hutz moment for courtroom-Saul that we’ve seen so far.

This. Alibi just in case.

Two options:

deep cut.

Is the partner of Jimmy/Saul to be considered a good assessor of which guys are good and how to not enable them?

Nice catch, I didn’t think about Howard being the Gale-archetype of BCS. I think you may be onto something. They both seem to have just enough cluelessness to believe their choices aren’t causing harm.

The thing is, in Jimmy’s mind, he is doing good by bombarding Howard’s driveway and disturbing his attempt at serenity. Like last season (I think) when he hammered Howard for supposedly not nutting up when the firm was failing, Jimmy believes that he’s helping through his bullying.

I don’t understand why anyone wants to prevent the plague anymore.
