I dunno, if I had to choose friends, I'd choose the gift bag guy. It sounds as though a lot of thought went into the gift. Yeah, he did get pissy in the end. It wasn't right, but it's understandable.

That's a good point. You are right. What she does about it is entirely up to her. I tend to ignore her behavior but when people don't know about her OCD, feelings get really hurt when she goes and re-washes her dishes. It causes all kinds of hard feelings, so sometimes a little honesty is the kind thing to do.
Life would be so much easier if we could be honest about who we are. It certainly clears up a load of misunderstanding. My daughter's grandmother was insulted when she went over to her house and (re)washed her dishes before eating. I told her that she has to be up front and honest about her OCD because no, this is not…
Best photo I have seen of her in a while. Seems like the tabloids (which I only glance at in the news stands) go out of their way to get the worst possible photos of her.
The schools are absolutely responsible. The law states that they are loco Parentis. When we remove our children from our homes and place them in someone else's care, they are responsible for them. Why is that so troubling to you or so hard for you to get? Who is supposed to be responsible for children when they are at…
I think that it's interesting that people find the character insulting. I like the character a lot. I need to think about it a bit more.
Someone below mentioned pets. It could be ferrets. They really do smell awful. Ferrets. They are very stinky pets. Also, when my daughter was in pre-kindergarten she came home in clothes that were not hers one day. The teacher said that her clothing smelled "sour" which confused the heck out of me because my kids did…
I agree. She grows up considerably throughout the series and her character gets a lot more interesting.
Good point. I get you!
That one.
I have an image of that guy from "The Big Bang Theory".
I didn't really know about this until I read "oh hell I can't remember the name of the novel but I can tell you the whole plot".
Oddly enough the only people who have ever undermined me at work were men, and they were all at the same job.
Even more reason to boycott those m-fers...Oh wait..I never shop there anyway.
In the 70's? I can remember a couple of Lesbian bars in the W. Village when I was growing up.
And I thought that it was Barneys.
Tattoos are not a craze, they are cultural, as is graffiti whether you like it or not. People use tattoos to express familial connections, religion, loss, hope, love, etc. You don't need to be an Anthropologist to appreciate tattoo's and graffiti and the deeper meaning behind them. As someone said below, it's not…
Since this is America and tattoos are a part of our culture, it seems like the spas and the people who use them should adjust to it. I would have no problem covering up my tattoos in Korea.
Lol.
There was a time - before they found out what was really wrong with me - that I went gluten free. It was hellish. You have no idea how much wheat is in everything until you really have to go gluten free.
