A note about the doors, this is yet another example of Tesla overcomplicating things that do not need and shouldn’t need to be. Pressing an electronic button to open a DOOR is unacceptable and should be illegal. If you ever find yourself in a car with electronic door releases, IMMEDIATELY find out how to override

Thank GOD they’re keeping the physical climate controls.

No? If i let someone borrow my car, i can't control whether or not they'll break traffic rules or run over a mailbox. The driver is ALWAYS responsible.

Also its florida. He couldn't find a highway or straight country road nearby?

Again with this assumption that before EVs we bought exactly what we wanted and not something that was made available to us after regulations, business decisions and market forces.

What a click bait title. He wasn't mocking people who bought gas cars, he said they're outdated but understands that many people can't get an EV right now. Totally different.

HARD disagree on the minivans. I have no clue where people are getting the idea that SUV’s now carry as much as minivans do, and its straight up misinformation. They absolutely do not. Only the absolute largest SUVs (Suburban, Expedition, Wagoneer, etc.) even compare. A Honda Pilot however? Its got nothing on the

No, i think the fact that this was an SUV is directly relevant. The rav4 in question has a uniquely pointy and high nose for the class. If this lady was in a camry, the other woman would have likely been pinned at the legs instead of getting run over. Sedans are just worse at running people over.

Larger wheels. Unless your car came on base steelies, there is no reason to do this. It adds weight, costs more in tire replacements, makes ride quality worse, makes fuel economy worse, and more likely to get damaged. And for what? It might look better and might handle slightly better at the limit, two things that

Every new mazda, including the ones we don't get in America.

No I agree. As someone who finds the 300 really unappealing as a car, I think it looks awesome.

This is fucking insane. Its a death spiral now. Somewhere in the car industry it was decided that more effort should be put into SUV’s because they sell better, and now, everyone is rushing to make, sell, advertise and buy them. The more it happens, the more other people are likely to get it. I cannot tell you how

Don’t for get the hyundai/kias and Audis

I live in the northeast, and more than 5 miles outside of any major city, the roads are mostly fine. People doing 80+ in the left lane is commonplace on every major highway in the region. 90+ is less common but still a normal occurrence. Traffic in the fast lane kind of spills into those speeds sometimes.

A driver plowing into stopped cars at a red light at full speed being blamed on speed is dishonest for one. Being from the northeast and having driven in and around Houston, I can assure you people people simply drive like ass down there. Doing 75-80 mph is a damn puzzle, with slow cars in all 4 lanes. I’ve driven

Any empty interstate in the country is safe at 90mph. And if that's not too much faster than the rest of traffic, it's fine.

You pay double the tolls if you use the verezzano and staten island. It’s still the fastest way into the other side of the city though.

Im sorry but he's valid for at least giving the state a say in the policy. NYC is vital to our economy and we supply it with a huge portion of its workforce. The idea that our transit doesn't get funding from the congestion pricing is insane and counter intuitive. And we already pay huge tolls to get into the city

Yes absolutely factor in weight. Also do away with light truck exemptions for efficiency and safety. And keep a small gas tax still.

Its not when you realize that
