So many cars that got cancelled in the past few years had a notable flaw that was later fixed, either abroad, or in a subsequent SUV (eg. the HR-V got the smoother and more powerful 2.0l motor that the Honda fit was denied). No, there’s nothing wrong with a vehicle between a brodozer and civic, but there is when the civic is no longer available. The issue is ford replaced the focus with a pickup. It didn’t add more options to its lineup, it traded one for another.
