Not sure what’s more sad: a guy dedicating a sports accomplishment (after it occurred, conveniently enough) to a rapper, or that a guy chose “Nipsey” as a rapper name.
I dunno, much as I loved Jose, the guy who hit only the 2nd walkoff World Series winning HR in the history of the game might have an edge on him.
Nothing could possibly top Bautista’s. It is the gold standard of bat flips, and perhaps, perhaps, one day, one might come close to equalling it, if it’s a WS winning HR or something, but none will ever better it.
I dunno, altering a field so that less soccer can be played on it? Sounds like a win to me.
+1 bad motoring and getting fingered by the cops
Yeah it consistently blows my mind that a sport that needs 40,000 people or more to fill it’s stadiums goes more and more out of its way every years to keep them from wanting to, and everything they build into the new stadiums is for some reason focused on watching the game on TV while being in the building where it’s…
I am asking a serious question: did this actually happen? Like do we have actual, nonpartisan proof that this event actually took place? Because if it did (and it looks that way), how honestly could anyone, ANYONE take the Republican party seriously in any context? I mean, this question really should have been…
Mega noob question so forgive me...why would these tires only be good for a couple of runs? I assume they’re not spinning the tires or drifting at 300 mph, nor does a GT weigh a great deal, so if it’s just simply going super fast, is it just crazy centrifugal force or something wierd?
It makes complete sense if you’re one of the mouth breathers that buy what they’re selling...they want liberty for all (who believe exactly the same things as they do, are white, straight, and want to donate tons of cash to their joke of a school, and don’t mind looking past small, totally unimportant things like…
I seem to recall a friend of his that said that “no one respects women more than me” as well...maybe Kraft’s throwing his hat in the ring for 2020!
Um, it would have if the guy he killed also didn’t have access to guns. Hence the need to control who has them. If you don’t have guns for people to steal, people are far less likely to kill you to get them.
Things that work, things that work, hmmm...Oh you mean like banning guns, the way the entire rest of the world does it? The point isn’t to stop shooters, dipshit...it’s to make it as hard as humanly possible for people to *become* shooters. I don’t understand how it’s so hard for gun people to understand this, because…
Other than perhaps the straw thing (which I’ll agree is kind of annoying, paper straws are terrible), do you wanna tell me who’s telling you that you can’t have a large coke, a hamburger, or a car? Or why you’re implying that liberal leaning people would ever want you to not have those things?
Exactly this. I’m certainly not the first to suggest it, but it’s very, very simple: real-time replays only, and you get 3 looks at it. If it’s not clear after that, then it wasn’t clear. Call stands. Done deal.
So you’re saying H went to the Izzo...and it didn’t go well?
The main reason is the ratio of MRI machines to people that need a scan is WILDLY lower than the States, because for-profit hospitals can buy them a lot quicker. That being said, I still like our system better. I can’t imagine being in a car accident and my first thought being “this is gonna cost me 50 grand.”
You’re not wrong, but last I checked, if you get cancer and need a half million (or more) dollars in treatment, chances are you haven’t paid a half million dollars over your lifetime in taxes. Systems like the one Finland uses a) actually have something approaching a fair tax system and b) focus far more on…
Oh right, the fabled “death panels.” Which of course every country with socialized medicine has, as everyone knows.
That is glorious. Possibly the only selling point of a trip to Thunder Bay. But now I kind of hope I get diverted there just so I can see those things.
