I think it was a Planet Money podcast I heard that discussed this system of leasing trucks and then repo’ing them when the rigged system collapsed on the driver. It sounded...criminally insane. Maybe this explains why 99% of the truckers on I-81 in PA drive like total assholes, I guess they are mad at the world, and

What is with these topics as of late? Overrated on sale. Overrated of all time. Unluckiest automaker.

3rd Gear: Vaccine mandates aren’t enough.

I mean, would having a general election for leadership actually change anything? Does anyone remotely trust ANY executive level leadership in the UAW to be acting in good faith? An election for a job where everyone lining up for it is full of shit  is not going to change anything, no matter how many people get to

If I were in the market for a pricey ECUV, I would take this over the Tesla, hands down.

Polling most of my upper-middle-class-white-(mostly female) suburban friends: yes, they do. They want TECH! and SCREENS! and their cars to scream I AM AWESOME LOOK AT ME.

It seems to have much more design presence than any other EV on the market. And it looks a couple class sizes larger than the XC40 Recharge and C40 Recharge you mention, too...closer in size to the e-tron.

I love the idea of an electric crate engine program, but the motor was never the tricky bit

I am pretty sure all the local newspapers could just re-print a story with the date changed every year “Dream Cruise is back and Locals Are Frustrated.” The interview questions and answers are always the same, just change the names. Now that the cruise is getting close to 30 years on, unless you have lived there for a

Ahh, the Dream Cruise. Brings back a lot of memories. Mostly involving everyone who lives even remotely near Woodward constantly repeating the phrase “I fucking hate the Dream Cruise...” for a solid two weeks.

Wait a second. I’m 6'4". I have driven the old 370Z, and it was basically at the edge of my comfort level, but I would have still been comfortable daily driving one.

Toyota thinks long-term, not just to the next quarter. Detroit should try that some time.

I purchased a similar system (Pioneer, I think) to replace my wife’s shitty factory radio in her 2012 Fiat.

IIRC, modern fuel hoses are designed to detach like this, because people are idiots
