Oh man, I was really hoping this would be a story about campus being haunted. I’m not sensitive at all to paranormal phenomena and never experienced anything in my four years there (nor did my husband, who’s also a UGA grad), but I think it’s probably possible that there are some spirits since UGA is such an old

Ok. This is a story is about two people who obviously loved each other very, very much.

Old ladies were easy to get them to like you: something along the lines of “Do your parents know you gals are here” or comment on how young they look and you are golden.

We once took my grandparents out to a restaurant for their anniversary. It was an authentic German restaurant, at least as authentic as someone can get in the United States, and my grandparents were both born and raised Germans. For the meal, there were no complaints. It was good food. But my grandpa kept this look on

I worked weekend brunch at a chain restaurant by the mall as a teenager and it was.... i already live in God’s waiting room but then add brunch and the mall and church letting out. I can’t tell you how many times I served tables glasses of water with extra lemon...no....more lemon! Lots of lemon! Just to watch them

I’ve actually got a nice old people story to add this week!

Not only do some people (most people) appreciate it, the decent ones stack their empty plates and silverware to make it easier to grab.

This is a long one, but I think it’s pretty great. Please excuse any typos.

Two friends from college got married, and it was a doozy of a wedding. My friends actually went to college with my best friend from high school, so over the course of college and the following decade her friends became mine, and vice versa.

Man. I was raised by an atheist and an agnostic, and while I believe what I believe, I’ve never felt that there was any necessity for a third party to stand between me and whatever I believe in. And so many people who call themselves Christians drive me absolutely batshit.

Based on the similarities in the shapes and folds of his ear, and the angles of his hairline, I’m inclined to say it is him.

Your creativity is both fascinating and frightening. Well done.

You should probably go ahead and marry him just to be safe.
