I’d still rather have a Morgan 3 Wheeler. But now I live in the Pacific North West, so a 3-wheeled antique replica with no roof will have to live in the dream.

No, I don’t like Stop & Start technology. For it to be useful, I have to stop a lot.

I’ll say go with the shuttle van. When towing, you really don’t want to go on anything worse than gravel road anyway. So 4-wheel drive isn’t all that useful on a tow vehicle.

I wonder when we’ll stop writing about diesel fines ... 2025? 2030? Never?

This is indeed weird. If you want to pay someone by the hour, the pay by the actual hour; you can always adjust the hourly rate based on skill level to account for the different speed people work. If you want to pay someone a salary, that’s fine too.

On my C7 Corvette, the 2nd gear is really finicky. I disabled the skip-shift feature, but it still doesn’t like to go into 2nd gear when driven gently.

Get a tune that artificially lower the redline by 1000...
