I always felt the 2011 Oscars had a fantastic lineup with the most frustrating outcome.
Social Network, Toy Story 3, True Grit, Winter’s Bone, the Fighter, Black Swan, 127 Hours, Inception, and The Kids Are Alright.
What won over all those awards?
The King’s Speech. It won Best Director over David Fincher and Darren

1977 was one of the all time great movie years. It was the summer of Star Wars, of course, but that year also brought us Annie Hall and Saturday Night Fever. If you were looking for lighter fare, there was Oh, God, Greased Lightning, and The Goodbye Girl, plus Roger Moore’s best Bond film, The Spy Who Loved Me. For

Pulp Fiction probably suffers a bit from the same syndrome as The Matrix or even Clerks, in that it was so influential that when you look back at it, it seems full of cliches. But it was the movies that emulated or parodied these films over and over that turned them into cliches. No fault of the originals.

I’m gonna get the papers, get the papers

I live in a European country that had a release date BEFORE the US (in a country that doesn’t usually enjoy “Black movies”). I was able to see the movie this past weekend. There’s been one episode, for chrissakes. Go outside. Get some air.

Yeah. When I saw how buff he was when he first took his shirt off in Community, I nearly fainted from shock.

My wife and I saw Joel McHale’s stand up act at our local Improv last night.

So between Joel McHale, Allison Brie on G.L.O.W., Gillian Jacobs on LOVE, and Jim Rash on Beyond Stranger Things, and their general penchant for this sort of thing, I would be surprised if Netflix isn’t the one to produce the Community movie eventually.

So glad they released Joel McHale back to his natural habitat, the green screen. May he forever roam in the wilderness that can only be seen in the monitors.

My favorite version is still Bang Bus...

Change “Vehicles” to “Jalopies” and you’ve got a winner!

I also don’t understand if this is true that he stole the idea, then why direct an episode of the stolen show? Why not bring up the lawsuit then? Hellllooooo
