So it's cool when Patton does it, but not Noel Gallagher?

It doesn't make sense - half the comments here on any given article are people attacking the associated creators (but without his wit) and they're okay, but because Noel's famous it's suddenly not acceptable? Why aren't superstars allowed to have opinions? Do they have to be polite all the time?

He still has that knack.

"How much of a Beatles ripoff Oasis were" - so that would be "Not very much in the first three albums, but moreso in the final four albums that were far less successful", right?

Bush aren't American.

Eh? He sounds much more like Kurt than Eddie.

Liam's the taller, prettier one with the thinning hair, possibly wigged.

It's a great interview. It's not even an interview - it's jazz.

I think a spot somewhere in the top 10 is warranted. And certainly the last *big* band. Maybe ever.

Except that Grunge died with Kurt - Oasis (Noel) arrived just in time to counter "I hate myself and I want to die" with "Maybe I will never be all the things that I want to be - now is not the time to cry; now's the time to find out why".

But that's not what he does. He can see through people's BS and calls them out on it. He's also not afraid to admit he was wrong - he spent a week slagging Ed Sheeran in the press, then discovered he was a decent fella who was willing to help out at a Cancer charity gig, and took it all back.

Album of the year.

No, the point is that it was funny, but they were mean - they weren't good people.

No, that's from Full House. And you're missing a word.

It reminds me more of stories that kids would actually make up themselves.

"Very unattractive"? What, are you dense? Are you retarded or something?

40 frickin' years ago.

Hardly any shows make me laugh, but even if Community wasn't LOL funny, it was usually clever - that's kind of missing from most material on TV.

"I can get on board with U2 going to shit after that." - until Songs of Innocence. Seriously, it's a solid album with the highlights being The Miracle, California, Every Breaking Wave, Volcano and Raised by Wolves.

The last great band of our time. Liam's voice, particularly up to the Be Here Now era is magical. Noel's voice is more workmanlike (in the Oasis days, he's lifted his vocal game since going "solo") but that helped make Don't Look Back in Anger even more of a communal experience; most people can sing in its range
