I think the lack of storage space was the achilles heel of the car. With no storage space it was probably immediately put into “second car” territory by most shoppers at the time. The miata was small, but it still could be your only car.

I didn’t think the normal springs where super stiff so they could probably get away with a slight bump in spring rate or perhaps some adjustible dampers, but my point was that I hope that this is a higher-performance BRZ instead of a cosmetic package

Its a good looking car, but it's just too similar looking to the 650S and P1. Having a consistent design language between cars is good, but I wish each model was more unique.

It doesn't make any sense to me either. They should just badge them as Toyotas. The Toyota brand can have some more exciting vehicles in their lineup and they get rid of the cheesy "youth" brand crap that they've been trying with Scion.

I always talk about getting a new car but never do. The Toyobaru and the new Mustang have tempted me, but I still got turned off by how heavy they were and I couldn't justify spending that much money. But I'm seriously excited about this.
