Yay for JDM engine swaps! I swapped a 20v blacktop 4AGE into my 85 MR2. The fun part is that the engine has to come out the bottom. So engine hoist is used to lift the car, then slide the engine and trans under on a creeper, then lower the car, then use engine hoist to lift engine off ground and into place.
screw counting sheep to fall asleep, I'm gonna count quattros
I was just thinking about how this thing could be such a sweet car to have for all the reasons you've listed.
I usually do all my own work on my cars, but every now and then I'll take it to a shop I trust if I get stumped or am short on time.
There is none. The redline is set by your balls
Yeah you have a point, I think I meant "mean something. period" The badge or branding is less important, my point was that Toyota in it's past had credible performance vehicles and performance versions of regular cars.
I agree 100% Lincoln needs to come up with a good simple, distinctly American looking design. I'm sure they're already using the Ford platforms, but the design language just isn't there yet. They need to have a more boxier looking shape, ie Chrysler 300. I pray they don't keep leaning towards the dreadfully bland look…
I think they still have their work cut out for them with Lincoln, but I really like what Ford is doing. They have the beige-y cars, but they give them character and legitimate performance options. If the ST trim level was just a badge and a body kit nobody would care.
Probably just look to the Global Rallycross cars. I'm sure the suspension is similar to WRC cars but they have a lot more power, something like 600.
Anyone here in Gen Z? Anyone know anyone in Gen Z? What do they really want? Also, wouldn't it be great if Gen Z loved the Nissan Z? Just saying.
Neutral: Would You Buy A Subaru? If you were in the market for a new car would you at least cross-shop it?
I love CJ-7's and CJ-8's but the price is too much. 8's are more rare than 7's but they're still out there and a diesel is cool and all but I'm a sucker for the 258 straight six.
I have a serious hard-on for that second scrambler
Neutral: How Long Will You Keep Your Car? Does it feel old already?
It all happened so fast, many 10-year-old cars seem like time capsules. Infotainment and safety features that are commonplace now were virtually nonexistent as recently as 2005. Less than a third of 2005 models had anti-skid technology and less than 12 percent had rear-view cameras, features found in almost all 2015…
I'm glad he's coming back to Formula Drift, but a RWD Passat!? I'm all for ridiculous builds, but using a Passat is just silly. Its not like it's going to make me like Passats. A Golf or Polo WRC car is cool, a GRC Beetle is a little silly but still awesome, a Passat drift car just makes me think of a lame joyride in…
To be honest my feelings for the Aztek have remained unchanged since before Breaking Bad. That is to say it's still ugly as sin
