Since you are a member of the SWAT team, not the shooter, this would be more like making a game where you are WW2 soldier liberating a death camp.

I love SWAT 3 and 4. I’ve been kind of keeping tabs on this game because of it, but I’m a little disappointed that it seems more shooty and less going slow and using less then lethal means to win like SWAT 3 and 4 were.

Unless the player is the school shooter I don’t see a problem. Don’t like the idea, don’t play the game. Enough people don’t play it and they won’t make another one. If enough people do they might make a sequel which people who don't like it will also be free to ignore. How is this different than any other cop or…

A ‘realistic’ school shooting level would be from the point of view of a school resource officer cowering in the parking lot even though situation was theoretically the reason his job even exists. It would be a stealth mission where you hide from reporters so you can claim you didn’t abandon your post later.
