Your point of engineers is well taken. Say what you will about Destiny (and I say that I can’t put it down and pick it back up and have any clue where I am in terms of progression is my biggest issue), but the server side stuff is really good aka matchmaking etc, and from what I’ve read Sony could use the help.

But can anyone explain why Sony is buying Bungie? Are they developing something besides Destiny? If Destiny is still multiplatform I don’t get it. It’s interesting that most of the coverage I’ve seen is ho-hum about the login queues and general server issues. Amazon is a direct competitor with Microsoft on who’s got the best servers, and in launching this MMO they certainly dropped the ball. I thought they were going to get bashed for it, but apparently not.
