While I'd still prefer Noah for the role, I think they got Ashton looking pretty correct. That's a nod to the makeup people though, we'll see about his acting.

While the acting was horrible, the effects were amazing. I'm not talking about the cool blue/orange portals, but the way they made it into one continuous shot, had the correct views of themselves through portals, and best of all, actual Portal physics applied.

The windows laptop I'm looking at has 675 in it, so at this point I'm pretty solidly going with that. If the MBP has a at least a 670 I might be going with that though. Maybe they'll put out a 17-inch later that has one.

My early 2008 MBP just broke, and I have already picked out an awesome windows gaming laptop, and then this thing is announced... It's hard to ignore 2800x1800 resolution, damn. I wonder if the processor and graphics card can even run games smoothly on that massive resolution?

So I guess they're keeping with the trend of doing small updates every other year, and tacking a word onto that type of feline. (Snow Leopard, Mountain Lion)

I know big SSD's are expensive, but fuck, that is way pricier than it should be, and far more expensive than Apple would make people pay for something like that.

I find demo's of game engines mind blowing. I do amateur modeling in my spare time and when you actually know the terms they talk about you realize how god damn amazing it is that they are rendering it on the fly without sacrificing aesthetics.

Of course the cinematics are going to look good, Blur made them. I don't doubt that the actual game will be lackluster as usual.

Wherever they did their research, it didn't pay off. The killing is easy, it's the getting away with it that's tough, and I guess they only Googled the killing part.

Jeez, just do what normal people do and watch a ton of cop/csi procedurals to learn what to do...
