I had to beat my brains in a little longer but I finally threw up a white flag last year. If I do what I need to do I'll have 1 year sober in 3 weeks.

well said, nick. I just "celebrated" 10 months without a drink on 1/4. you are so right that the admission that I'm an alcoholic had to come from me. I might disagree with you on if Skip B. set him back with one of his blowhard comments, but I appreciate you speaking out and sharing your story. I wish, coming from my own place, that Bayless had stopped at "problem with alcohol" because that a-word brings a lot of baggage and opinions with it.
