I know this isn’t very Jalop of me (brown manual diesel wagon and all), but why the F would anyone buy a diesel these days unless whatever country they are in heavily subsidized diesel fuel? If you want economical (and therefore you mostly drive with a light right foot), you can get a 1.5L turbo four engine that still

Hope you managed to recover from that, Dan Cooper.

I’ve never been to Germany, but if their hygiene habits are on par with those of France & Italy, the average citizen is already well on their way.

not everyone did any of those things at protests. protests are more packed than a race

You may have done that. Many others didn’t. You simply had to turn on a television to see that.

Tell me why that won’t or can’t happen at the Speedway. You said yourself you’ve never been. I’ve been many times. It’s 560 acres. 117,000 fans is going to seem like the place is empty. There is plenty of space to social

No. You made your case in this thread that it’s perfectly acceptable for large groups of people to be in close proximity to others if they are protesting because the cause is “worth the risk.” That’s called rationalization. If you are telling people that they can get together and take the risk only for things that are

sounds like I should just give people the car in snow mode lol.

Fix up the Corvair.

Mustang name aside, this is not an attractive car.

F Type is the most beautiful car ever made.

The rear of that C8 just looks so bad..... while the F type (1st gen) looks so good from every angle.

This is the nicest example of a car that you can find for half the price, without a supercharger. My napkin math tells me I’d be a buyer at around $10,500, because this body style isn’t becoming a classic.

My sti v1 driveline had clearly been redone for an inspection just before it was stuffed in a ditch. The cost to keep older cars road legal, coupled with good mass transit means non commercial vehicles just dont see the miles American cars do. Imagine if you had to drop a couple grand in repairs to keep a perfectly

Actually, living in Japan I can verify a LOT of the used cars for sale do only have 60k miles. It’s the magic ‘100,000 Kilometers’ #, after which come big-bill services: cam belts, brakes, suspension bushings, tires. People don’t want to deal with it.

There’s a difference between running over a bunch of people on a walking path minding their own business vs accelerating out of an angry mob that’s blocking the street and attacking you. Comparing these to ISIS is a bit of a false equivalency.

The police ramming these rioters don’t really bother me . There is a difference between protesters and rioters  .Protesters should be protected rioters need to be protected against . When a crowd attacks it can get real ugly real fast .

Yup, heard that on the pod. Just another sketchy change his Ralliart came with (the aftermarket sunroof is the big one, I think)

This is pretty much why I got a Miata. If I keep it garaged, don’t let salt eat it, and keep any modifications reasonable, there’s no reason I can’t be driving this car until the day I die. It might turn into a bit of a Ship of Theseus eventually, but I should be able to keep it looking good and running well mostly
