I’m with you on the chassis swap. Head south, find a mint body with a roasted motor/trans in a junkyard, and drop this powertrain under it. That’s an impossible amount of rust to repair, and as long as you document the whole thing, it won’t hurt the value when these inevitably actually become collectable.

Yeah I think your only option is a rust free donor car.

Tranny swap into a better ZJ, and keep the cowl tag from the original as a souvenir/documentation.

Gee if only they had some sort of support system in NYC to build these walk ways on.

Pardon me while I eat jumbo shrimp in deafening silence on the elevated subway. You have to admit its an awfully pretty sight sight to eat on the train. It’s kind of an open secret definitely maybe.

I’m not surprised that they built it (raised tracks are drastically cheaper than underground ones), and I’m not surprised that they stopped using it (elevated tracks are ungodly noisy, and an eyesore for everyone walking underneath them), but........... why didn’t they actually, you know, finish taking it down???

The main issue with the Finnish system, according to some Finnish people I knew, isn’t grumbling rich people, but the scope for fraud.

I don’t know, I mean while a sliding scale fine works from an economic perspective, the real punative measure is the time.

Congratulations on finding a 2016 New York Times article which has been discussed here by your predecessors!

I am terribly disappointed that the fire hydrant is not spewing water 80 feet in the air and dozens of children have not come to frolic in it. Another Hollywood myth shattered.

Or...an article about cars.

It is pretty great. Hell, I think it’s actually super fun. Even in coach, even with all the annoyances.

This.  More car articles on a car website would be nice.  Who feels “climate guilt” anyway.  Al Gore doesn’t and he uses more CO2 than pretty much 99.9% of the population.

I fly first class.  Due to some of the heft gained eating beef, it’s way more comfortable for me.

I feel no guilt and like extra legroom. Its certainly more eco friendly to fly than drive cross country so if anything Ill be smug about it. If the jackwad world leaders and celebrities can all take private jets to go and lecture us to give up more crap in the name of being eco conscious then I can certainly take a

I want to know...how is it that a 2020 sportscar can still look this beautiful ? How does Jaguar manage to do it all in a world of fake vents, scoops and all the emission / safety standards ?

Is this over twice as fun as a convertible C8 Corvette?
