Shall I continue?

I believe there’s an adaptive cruise control sensor in there.

Geo Metro Convertible. Id almost say these weren’t crap can because of how many i still see. But wow, it looks bad, and the drop top makes it a bit comical. From what folks tell me they are gas mileage juggernauts and low on maintenance costs, so go go METRO!

You’d be the exception in that age range. As for uniqueness, what happens if Alfa expand their footprint in the US and these become more mainstream, would you sell the 4C?

Same difference for Boxter/Cayman. Cayman is a great car. Some of us who regularly commute on a bike would be just happy with a 4C.

Electronic parking brake.

I’ll stick with my RWD Coupe R. I don’t want to tame the canyons, I want to paint them black.

Right, anything cat-back is fine (must fall within noise restrictions) exhaust wise. But then again, it’s the owner’s own damn fault if they make their car look like F&F where an officer has enough suspicion to ask to open the hood.

This is not true. The smog laws have evolved through the years. The requirements have indeed become TIGHTER over time as the testing methods have evolved. Many cars today are required to meet lower levels than they did off the showroom floor. Extremely detailed, fact checked, and source cited writeup here:

I believe you’re wrong.

California car enthusiasts need to write their Congressmen and Congresswomen about AB-550. This is a legislation attempt to allow an owner of a motor vehicle that is subject to the smog check program to pay a $200 smog abatement fee if the vehicle fails a subsequent smog test after repairs are done.

Not to mention when I moved here I had to pay $1800 of sales tax because my car was less than a year old and California sales tax is higher than Maryland so I had to pay the difference in order to get my car registered. Not to mention I had to smog test it since I didn’t buy it in California even though the same car

“Please stop reminding me.”

God, I wish manufacturers would go back to making interiors as simple and elegant, as that one is, especially in sports cars/coupes. It feels like I have to buy a 100,000 car to get a nice, simple, driver focused interior, with good materials. I believe the new MX-5 is the closest we can get to it for under 50k.

We need more car-guy world leaders. Especially ones that custom build El Caminos.
