3 and 4 speeds depending on year and motor. Mom had it’s cousin the Plymouth Duster with a Slant 6 and manual, know the miles went way into the 6 digits before it left the family in the 80’s, bullet proof drivetrain, rest was enh, but ran trouble free forever.

This. I like turbocharged cars for the drama and the whooshes. However I also love NA cars for the purity and the throttle response.

And stop making them so damn quiet. I WANT TURBO NOISES, I HAVE THE MENTAL AGE OF A 12 YEAR OLD AND I WANT TURBO NOISES!!

Bloke’s clearly busy working through some things right now.

I'd have to say Kimi put in the drive of the race. I also thought it was classy of him to take full blame for the retirement in Australia (apparently he slipped the clutch prematurely, interfering with the rear tire change).

When I rent I never abuse the car more than if it were my own. Occasional hard accelerations, cornering and braking - sure, but burnouts and rallying is purely criminal in my mind.

2004 Pontiac GTO 6 Speed.

It depends on whether Onstar is tapped into the internal data bus or not. Wouldn't surprise me if it was. Security always takes a back seat to convenience.

Whups! You're right, of course. I'm blaming that error on a crushing amount of sleep deprivation.

I'm going to be that guy and point out that these aren't DSG's. These are SMG's. DSG is a VW automated dual clutch, SMG is a BMW automated single clutch.

My husband basically has a twin to this, trust me, you will very quickly develop a serious desire to stab the gearbox in the face. Also, all that pretty metal trim you see in there will burn the absolute crap out of you in the summer. Luckily, we don't have the infotainment system this one has, I've heard horror

Oh god yes.

Definitely.

Really? You're the sort of person that could even find my wife attractive

Of course! It's the definitive 80s yuppie-mobile. They were even trying to outbid each other and pay over the odds to get them and get dealers to break contracts, or so I understand.

nope its not on the drivers side, I had better go around and try the drivers side.
