The best way to deal with it is probably to put some some kind of symbol or notice near the button that points to the manual release. You can make that pretty, but obvious. That would be good design.

Because I don’t think the government is smart enough to only give the contractor a hash of the records. And even if they did, they would hire a contractor to make the hashes. Sigh.

Biggest issue I see is that the government doesn’t do this themselves. They do it through government contractors. Do you want the lowest bidder holding a copy of your passport and a log of your movements? I’m sure that will never get hacked...

My mom bought a car (a Mazda, last week) that was CPO. But it was listed as CPO before the title had even transferred from the auction. They had the keys, but the only thing they had done was wash it.

Not sure if it’s a good comparison or not, but I pulled a 9:20 BTG time on my 4th ever lap using a Volkswagen Scirocco GTS (217 hp).
