As of this year, NASA currently has 17,354 employees, but usually employs at least 18,000 or more.

And yet none of those things make it the mystical, magical dreamland everyone makes it out to be.

Tell me, in your opinion, what makes Russia the leader in Missile tech?

No, no they wouldn’t. That isn’t how orbit works at all.

I’ll just leave this here. We aren’t worried. We have them too. As a matter of fact, we’ve had the capability to shoot them down since 1985.

I’ve always said the Compass wasn’t worthy of wearing the Jeep badge.

The 2016 Ford Focus should have been on that list too.

Why? Why bad on the airline? Because they profiled?

    1. Wake up

Maybe it’s just me, but California is so fucking overrated. It’s like this mystical dreamland to everyone. No one seems to realize that while yes, there are great beaches there, there’s also homeless guys digging through the trash right next to you while you try to tan. There’s crime, there’s drugs, there’s everything

    This part is very important:

The same kind of hydraulic supports seen on 99% of SUV deck lids. Supports like this:

My 2016 Focus has the same setup for Trunk arms. It’s fucking maddening. Go to shut the trunk and I can’t, because my golf club heads are in the way of the stupid ass 3ft long arm Ford felt was the best solution to raising and supporting the trunk lid.

    It’s a Mercury Marquis.

    It’s all about the image.

No, it shows us they had started to develop and work with the technology, but abandoned it for whatever reason. A rocket has never been launched, landed back at the space center, and recovered in a reusable state. It doesn’t matter how you try to make it so, it didn’t happen before SpaceX.

It’s hard to understand this sense of accomplishment when it isn’t a product of your labor, years of study, etc.

SpaceX is nowhere near the size of JPL in terms of budget, physical space, and manpower. That’s a crazy assumption. I agree they’re not a backyard op, but they’re nowhere near as large as JPL.

Outside of that, this is from my comment:

Boy y’all clickbaited the fuck out of this one, didn’t you?
