Jesus, this is fucking grim.

lots of us camp because we like spending a few weeks a year sleeping outside and seeing the stars. Not everyone is a poser you know.

Toyota has defeated me because i honestly sort of like it?

I wish your friend luck! I can see a future where i get rid of my 4x4 + trailer combo and just go w/a 4wd Sprinter. I couldnt get to all the places my 4x4 can go but i also dont have to worry about backing down a tight road w/a fucking short wheelbase trailer either to yield to oncoming traffic.

I know ppl w/a Revel. Its indeed pretty sweet. It is also indeed a ton of money. Another set of friends just bought a RAM conversion van, used, for 10ok. Its kitchen is fancier than the kitchen in my house..

Having bought a small teardrop-ish trailer myself earlier this year i find the guess from Mercedes that this will price out in the mid 20s to be interesting. I thought about buying a small trailer for years and did a ton of research and there were not many (basically zero) options that came with a heater/solar/water

Taco and 4runner are also getting new generations that will hopefully get better MPGs.

Yup..and also if this was a young black guy who ran into a group of 6 white hunting real americans that kid would have been immediately shot and all the white ppl given medals of freedom.

This is going to be terrible. I mean i guess that tracks cause, for the most part, those books were also terrible.

lol, do you know what the cops do in this country? Google asset forfeiture. The cops here steal more than any other criminal.

cool, thank you!

I had zero idea this was possible! You have far more experience than i do w/this stuff. I carry a snatch strap, shovel, traction boards, extra D ring, etc and ive used them to help some other ppl out of messes but what your picture shows here is totally new to me.

The only time ive gotten my Pro-4x stuck the only way it could have been towed was from the rear and there is not a standard rear recovery point on the 2015 Xterra. We ended up getting it unstuck the old fashioned way: a shovel and lots of pushing.

lol, 1 in 8 ppl in the country live in california and it would probably be more like 1 in 6 if the fucking tax dodging nimby’s out there built some fucking houses.

This guy sounds like an idiot. Just stick with the Buick and he he can keep his boy racer fantasies to himself.

im actually quite experienced in the backcountry and have been using my old Big Agnes seedhouse 2 as my car camping tent. Its fine.. But, for example, i just spent 3 nights in the San Juans and it was rainy and there wasnt a dry fucking place to pitch a tent anywhere. That gets old and i am getting old.

ah, thats why it looked familiar! I know that portion of the road exists but i havent driven on it that far myself. Are trailers even allowed on that?

lol, exactly! Wheres this? Looks to be on the Colorado plateau somewhere.

facts dont care about your feelings, snowflake!
