Ok, this is good to know. My rock sliders also get a bit of a workout at times and thats why i was thinking a 2" lift and 33" tires would go a long way towards fixing that. Thanks for the info.

Thats nice! Im on 31in tires and stock height and thinking of Old Man Emu suspension and slightly bigger tires next year. Also, +1 for maxtrax. They + a shovel have bailed me out a few times for sure.
Good on you for getting after it!
I own a 2015 Pro4x and believe me it definitely offroads. It doesnt do performative dumb ass rock crawling for rock crawling sake but for actually getting to the backcountry trailheads that require 4x4 it handles all of that quite competently.
Same. Also, better towing/more power. Im not in the market for this since my 4x4 is still in excellent shape but i think this looks pretty good overall.
Youre right, i didnt even see it that way initially.
cotd, thank you
The futures uncertain but the end is always near..
I mean im glad this dude isnt hurt and all that but yeah..maybe drive your fucking car yourself?
a reasonably priced awd hybrid small truck would be very welcome.
*assuming one has a few hundred k :)
I didnt say that i expected to see more of them than other EVs im just saying that i saw only one in thousands of miles. Even in the upper middle class suburbs of Denver that are teeming with Teslas and just generally 100k and up vehicles i didnt see a single one.
yes
Believe me even ppl with full size trucks store their MTBs like that. Its a feature, not a bug. Source: i live in one of, if not, the hottest areas for mountain biking.
Fair
She is not playing politics. She is 100% sincere. I dont know why ppl keep making these assumptions.
In the last few weeks ive driven thousands of miles in the mountain west/desert southwest and i saw exactly one ID 4 and it was sleep inducing.
I agree w/you all around and i wish you luck! Im 50 now and hoping to semi retire’ish in 5 years myself. Not stop working but just work much less and quit this field ive been in for decades.
what about healthcare? Thats the key..Obamacare is, i guess, better than nothing and COBRA exists and costs a fortune but unless these ppl have spouses that can get them insurance a few months of severance would immediately get chewed up by healthcare costs.
I mean sure..but thats a pretty low bar, no? We have been so beaten down that generally as workers we are just ecstatic for scraps.
