Damn, thats pretty grim severance options. Even my company gives 1 month of severance per year of service when we have our semi-annual layoffs so we can rehire the same ppl as contractors w/o benefits.

I drove a manual home from the full eclipse a few years back after camping in Wyoming. It was 10+ hours of stop and go traffic. Gave up my identity as someone who always drives a manual after that.
This is an excellent way to put it. Especially the Sport model (that Raph can barely be bothered to mention/talk about). It gets double the MPGs of my Xterra and has the ability to go just about anywhere but real 4x4 roads that my Xterra does. When i finally replace my ancient Outback in the end im likely to buy this.
Tom, i dont know how you do your job w/o either killing someone/yourself and/or having multiple addiction issues.
Yup, this is 2nd degree murder.
Exactly my thoughts. This woman is the perfect American.
These companies have always been a scam and will never make money.
I mean, i understand where you are coming from but ScarJo is still labor and Disney is still capital in this situation. Ill favor ScarJo in this legal fight because of that.
Yup, this is correct. Ideology >> any sort of educational background/professional experience.
you are a precious snowflake
Youre certainly right about them being over msrp. Ive been hemming and hawing about getting a new DD for literally years at this point and i took a look for Rav4 Primes recently and they were either not to be found or indeed over asking.
Much to my surprise my giant tech company (not google) sent out guidance that ppl who come back to the office must be vaccinated barring legit, documented medical reasons.
I mean..these are boring as shit w/nothing that is a value add over any other EV. Id buy a Rav4 Prime long before i bought an ID4.
Congrats!
Yes, all pressures are pushing developers to totally ignore the lower end of the housing spectrum. I dont even blame them to be honest..its how the game is rigged.
Yes, this is entirely correct. I have a good friend who is from Orange County, CA (which is pricey/rich) and he now lives in Spokane area. HIs parents retired, sold off their long ago paid off house in OC, pocketed 7 figures after taxes and bought a ridiculously nice house near Spokane for what is crazy money in…
Basically everywhere on the coasts and places like CO are just absolutely batshit insane right now. As i mentioned upthread there are real demographic reasons for this combined with a significant lack of house building since the last crash 10+ years ago. Its a perfect storm.
I dont necessarily think this is a red flag but context matters. This town is ~45 minutes from Telluride and there are just very few homes for sale at prices that me w/an upper middle class income can afford. Basically everything is 7 figures or higher out that way which is just out of reach for anyone who isnt really…
I just bought a 2nd house in basically the only mountain (not fancy ski town, just mountain town near a ski area) town in a blue area (no way in fuck im living in Meeker or Craig) and my mortgage company waived appraisal given the price and location.
Ah, i do indeed remember the AMC Eagle. In fact, my brother had one in the 80s. And holy shit, this precept concept does look fantastic. I hope they build it!
