Yeah, water will aerosolize something like this and make it worse. Same thing with grease fires in the kitchen. You dont try and douse them with water.

My 2015 Xterra pro-4x has no inherent rear recovery point, believe it or not. I needed a hitch anyway to tow some stuff so I got that but even the most off-road oriented vehicle in their lineup had only front tow points. Strange..

Ha! Same, but with my ‘08 Outback.

Diesels are dirty and particulates are quite nasty to the health of anyone forced to be near one. Even modern filtration systems dont change that a whole lot. Sure its better than it used to be but theyre still very dirty.
