Lol, seriously. This guy was probably paying ~1k/month for both vehicles. At least he downsized into a Bolt which seems like a sensible move for a dd.

i mean whats your idea/solution?

You are the perfect American.

Good article, thanks, Jason.

How about the rust belt cities of the great lakes? Great bones and could easily add millions of residents. In fact post WW2 there were millions more living there.

I live in the desert in Colorado..ppl started watering their lawns this week.

Thats a good point about the rocket bikes. I hadnt thought of that. Probably because i live in the rural desert sticks i see far, far more HDs than crotch rockets.

Its impossible to separate the bikes from the riders at this point. Sure, #notallHDriders but still.

lol! Oh man, thats perfect.

Im heading out of my tiny town yesterday to go do some desert hiking and in front of me are 2 HDs w/all the festooning one has come to expect on them ridden by exactly the demographic you expect as well.

Uh..its an C - all of the above sort of situation most likely.

I generally agree w/you here - the ppl of this country are very dumb and if a way could be devised to separate what it means to be a real american from driving all the time i thikn that would be great. Self driving EVs could be that wedge but were just decades away from legit self driving tech. We already have all the

You clearly have never traveled anywhere in the world that has good working transit. Its amazing how blinkered Americans are.

ACAB

I agree that we wont do what we need to do. But ill keep advocating for it.

It is a scam at least on any timescale that will i will see. Tesla charging 10k for shit they know is a lie is a scam. Uber losing billions a year while finally, essentially, giving up on self driving all the while their c-suite mngt gets rich is a scam, etc etc.

lol, ill top it w/the internet more generally! Ive worked in tech for 20+ years and the (public) internet was a mistake.

The flying car is a good analogy here, thank you.

This would truly be the stupidest thing a society could invest time/energy/money in.

Yeah, fair about the pandemic. I think you live in CO like i do and obviously the outdoorsy crowd is larger than avg and i think there will be a lot of ppl still interested in doing outdoor stuff even post vaccinations.
