I have friends w/a 2018 Avalon and i was surprised by how much i liked it. Its so remarkably anonymous and yet so easy to live with and drive around. Its not for me but its a really good vehicle. 

Lots of hikes and taking my small trailer to the middle of nowhere and doing some glamping in the desert before it gets too damn hot. 

Lol, i have a large Black Lab that never pulls on the leash except near roads. He has no car/road sense whatsoever. When on a walk he will always tiptoe up to a road and then just sort of tries to pull against hte leash and just go for it.
