I generally agree and concede the point that for big vehicles there can be some advantage to this but for more context i live in the middle of nowhere rural sticks and there is ALWAYS more room to park out here. There is zero lack of space to park and still ppl insist on parking like this. 

The more pointless lift on the truck the more likely the dude (its always a dude) will back in. Even when there are tons of open spots to just pull through the dudes out here in their lifted super duty’s will still back into a spot. Its ridiculous.

I agree that there has been a shitload of new construction/sprawl but that is not the same as density. The inner ring neighborhoods are still basically zoned for a duplex at best. There are some exceptions of course but denver and every other desirable city needs density, not sprawl out to the boondocks.

The gas mileage is a fucking joke on this thing. I mean my pig of a 4x4 (Xterra Pro-4X) gets 17mpg for god sakes. 11 or 12mpg in 2021 for a brand new vehicle is just ridiculous.
