Looking at that first gif, it was a stroke of good luck that Gortat wasn’t called for a moving screen. It’s understandable that the refs didn’t see it, but it looks pretty blatant when it’s on loop.

I sort of agree - reaching through a pick with your limbs is arguably a foul on the floor, but def not a shooting foul.

Reporter: Hi, not Russel Westbrook, can you answer this question for me?
Westbrook: Look, I’m tired of having this whole discussion be about me, OK?

That’s literally what Westbrook has to do in order to defend his team. Poor Russell Westbrook :(

I was thinking on the Cavs part. It’s not uncommon for 1-seed to sweep the 8-seed, but if you need your best players to scramble to win all four games, it almost defeats the purpose of getting a week of rest.

I’m not sure there’s a way to document this, but can some statistician determine whether or not this was the saddest sweep in NBA post-season history?

I’m glad you qualified. +1 for the joke, +1 for the good vibes.

Man, the ONE TIME there was a chance for an awesome upset...

I’m Polish and Italian descent, and I think it’s fair to say that Italians rule the carbs and Poles take it in meat preparation. Kielbasa 4eva!

To carlvenkman’s point, every once in a while you get a nugget of awesomeness that makes the NBA larger than 82 x 16 games followed by a tournament. In order to catch those moments, you gotta ask the question every time.

You’re totally right, though, it’s gotta feel like a supreme waste of time to Lowry

Why does this have to be about his critics? Isn’t it reasonable that the superstar of a high-risk, high-injury sport would decide to risk further injury on his own? IMO we’re giving his critics WAY to much power here.

Someone should also point out that the Tesla is ALREADY a unit of measurement in electromagnetism, but there’s clearly bigger fish to fry in the “general knowledge” department.

This is your pro-security administration, people.

Thinking that a big pile of taxes must be funding some sort of generous, Scandinavian-style social security net for the underclass is a lovely nugget of rich person myopia

Honestly, this doesn’t make Isray sound that bad. Luck suffered a shoulder injury in 2015. In 2016, they attempt to shore up their O-line to keep Luck healthy and were not successful. The GM was fired at the end of that season. They let the QB make the final decision whether surgery was necessary while Isray tried to

Great article! Obviously, it serves Trump right to have these kind of conspiracy theories swarming around him, but I also feel that Democrats are inclined to just let them go unchecked. There’s no doubt conspiracies against Bush after 9/11 tarnished his image, “birther” claims seemed to resonate against Obama... It

CONCACAF gets 3.5, which means the top 3 teams get in automatically and the 4th place team plays the 5th place (sort of) team from Asia, which is likely to be Australia. If the US beats Australia, for example, than there are 4 teams from CONCACAF that goes to the World Cup.

I hope there are bets being placed on the interim location of the Raiders as we speak. That would be classic Las Vegas/NFL/Raiders/Goodell/America.

I think the story of Ross’ failure emphasizes that he really believes what he says. He pouted when he lost his bid that others have won, but he drew the line at threatening to leave the city. In a world where billionaires DO get handouts for stadiums, he acted as fairly as I could reasonably expect.

I do think,
