Sorry. Naturopathy is bullshit, based on bullshit, and is at the very *best* worthless.

My PT said it stands for “pain and torture.” And she was right! But being able to walk again made it worth it. =)
Yes! I used to play this in class back in the day when I taught health and human sexuality. Contrast with “Business Time” by Flight of the Conchords. =)
There are CNMs, CPMs, and depending on what state you’re in a variety of untrained “professionals.” Certified Nurse Midwives have nursing degrees plus additional training (about equivalent to a Master’s degree) in obstetrics.
I want to star this but you have 666 stars right now and it’s too perfect.
Almost, except you forgot “I Just Had Sex.”
There’s no telling how what we learn from this will benefit people in the future. It’s knowledge worth having.
It's not available. It's experimental.
I did all my post-surgery physical therapy in the pool at the local gym. Let me tell you how much fun crossing an icy parking lot on crutches is.
He (well, his supporters) will be important in the caucuses. If a candidate has less than 15% of the vote at a caucus, they’re no longer considered viable and their supporters have the option to just leave or throw in with another candidate. As close as these races are, O’Malley’s supporters’ second choices could make…
Greetings, fellow turtle! =D
(like a year later) Yes to this! Manual transmission makes my tiny Saturn SL totally drivable in western Minnesota in the winter.
There’s one really good way to build your immune system: get vaccinated!
(also ugh, I hate this trope. what they mean is “making antibodies and memory T and B cells,” which is exactly what vaccines do minus the whole being-miserably-ill thing, but they don’t know that because they don’t know shit about how the immune…
My husband and I have a joint account. It just made sense. We’re agreed that anything over about $100 needs to be discussed ahead of time, but otherwise we just do what we need to do.
They said to dispose of any leftover meds mixed into the used cat litter. It absorbs liquids and gels and makes any pills super gross. If someone’s willing to dig through used cat litter for pills, I’m willing to let them have them. =/
God, yes. I’m withdrawing from Norco right now (post-surgery)... it’s just double-Vicodin, 10mg hydrocodone. Not the hardcore stuff. Took as directed every 4-6 hours for a week, then over the next two weeks tapered down to one dose a day, and now I’m off them... and I lie in bed awake all night, anxious and twitching…
The vet gave my *cat* a fentanyl patch for post-surgical pain, as well as a bunch of doses of buprenorphine to take home. I’m glad she was willing... it was an awful surgery... but she just sent me out of there with a nodding cat and a paper bag full of Schedule II substances.
Convince someone that it's for the greater good and they will commit atrocities with a clean conscience.
Fundamental attribution error. When *they* do something bad, it's because they're a bad person. When *I* do something bad, it was a silly mistake/I had a good reason/anything that lets me keep thinking of myself as a good person.
When you really need it, senna IS a gift from heaven.
