I’m another Michigander here to sound off. Given what I see on the roads every day in Metro Detroit I’m all for inspections of these “silent killers”. Unfortunately, it does become an issue of regressive taxation and jeopardizes freedom of movement.

I highly recommend the socks. I’ve been buying them exclusively for the last few years because of their great fit and durability.

I don’t think that would work very tell. All flat taxes disproportionately impact people with lower incomes. Plus you would unfairly tax someone like an elderly Grandma who only drives to church and to the bingo hall on weekends.

“The ASCE says we need something closer to $4.6 billion.”

This x1000. For a guy who has an appreciation of lowriders and needs some space, a classic and stylish land-yacht like a Continental is a no-brainer!

“I want to try something a little different”

Reducing the logistics tail is a huge priority for the US military. The prioritization of automation in theater and the addition of green technologies such as alternative energy and water purification/recycling help reduce the logistics burden. This allows us to put dedicate more resources toward accomplishing the

I live in the Detroit area and I heard a test truck accelerating down Monroe Ave (a nice echo-y part of the city). As it was barreling past, the blow-off valve let out a mighty hiss. I was genuinely excited to hear the exhaust note of the production truck. This is really disappointing to me.

I like you, and the guy you replied to. Loui’s and Buddy’s are both friggin excellent. Loui’s does make me feel a little more like dying after eating it, so I suppose its the better pizza.

Awesome idea for a video series! I’m looking forward to seeing more.

It’s definitely something I’d enjoy seeing on the test track. But I have my doubts that they could see 650hp out of the 5.2L engine without revving it to stratospheric heights and losing mid-range torque and usability.

Hi Terrell,

I still really like that concept. We need more fun small roadsters.

I don’t disagree, I was replying tongue-in-cheek.

I think we’re all still feeling hurt that the 1999 GTO concept was never green-lit for production.

Are we only talking Dodge? Or can we include Chrysler/Plymouth/Jeep? The Jeep Hurricane is one of my favorite concept vehicles of all time with its dual Hemi V8's and zero turn radius steering:

tl:dr the Alpha platform and LT1 engines are worthwhile upgrades. They should have done more with the styling.

Its crazy that the CTS has gone so long without a proper update. I mean, that 2024 model looks just like a 2014 model year!

Not to mention Ford’s not “investing company money poorly” anyway. Everything that they’re doing seems to make sound financial sense. They’re just attributing it to Trump in order to build political capital.

I think you’re absolutely right. The tactic seems pretty obvious to me considering the slowdown of small car sales and the good favor to be gained from ass-kissing. This is just good business savvy.
