My personal opinion is that off-roader mods should be an automatic inspection fail. If you want an off-road vehicle, keep it off the road.

Mine went up 17%. Just scheduled payment today.

Being bald/balding is nothing to be ashamed of regardless of gender or status. Don’t be a dick, Andy.

I was always curious about this, because I’ve seen some of the same numbers on a GTI 6mt trip computer. Did you ever check them with pen and paper? I’m lucky to push 30mpg in my S3 on the highway, but the GTIs regularly report 40mpg+. Less weight and 2WD will certainly save fuel, and I think the S3/Golf R is geared

Isn’t this what Mitsubishi is attempting with the Mirage and significantly improved Outlander?

Does the Escape cluster really glow blue like that? It looks like an absolute nightmare for nighttime driving.

I was thinking the same thing. Lots of EJ22 Imprezas on the rallycross circuit.

The handmade pan pizza is pretty solid. The standard “hand-tossed” crust is not that good.

Back when I worked at McDonalds we had a few secret menu items. One of the local favorites was the “McGangBang” which was a double cheeseburger with a McChicken patty in the middle.

Just so I understand, this guy isn’t a cop or military or anything? He’s just a cosplayer?

I had a rental Expedition with the 3.5 Ecoboost and 10 speed auto. Checking out the boost gauge and transmission shift points, the thing wouldn’t even make full boost outside of Sport mode! In regular mode, it felt like a mid-2000's Expedition. In Sport it was a 6,000 lbs missile, scaring the shit out my co-workers

Didn’t the proper Bronco just start shipping around November/December?

That is a rough one. Mine had the LT1 (1997 Firebird Formula). Fortunately I never had to drop the engine cradle.

Have fun with it! The 3.8L engines are generally reliable mechanically, and I don’t recall any common issues with the 5 speed. Some of the sensors and emissions controls could be sus at this age.

That WRX story is so painful to read.

That’s interesting! You’ve ridden more scooters than me, is that a common feature? On the Ruckus there’s a locking switch on the rear brake (left lever). I understand why they would want to make this more motorcycle-like.

Thanks for the great write-up! I’m a little envious of that extra 15mph or so compared to my Ruckus.

Just in time for the 9,000 lbs GMC Hummer to hit the streets! I’m being sarcastic, but as a rider those things scare the shit out of me.
