How are they making it $1000 cheaper than a Ruckus? More importantly, can I swap this engine into my Ruckus without extending the swingarm?

As a current-gen S3 owner, I’m conflicted. I love the simpler, cleaner styling of the outgoing generation both in terms of the exterior and interior. The only piece of tech that is really amazing here is the new rear drive unit.

Smucker’s Natural is so freaking good if you can’t get the fresh-ground stuff. Its definitely my go-to.

I also see some EV spots at customer sites, which is great until there are N+1 sales reps visiting. Hopefully hotels catch up and install a bunch of chargers.

I’m not sure this is great from a business-travel perspective, which is when I typically rent cars. I’m already juggling a bunch of priorities when booking my travel, and coordinating recharge stations is not something I want to add to that list.

This is a re-work of the Nissan Rogue, hence the 2.5L engine. https://www.motortrend.com/news/2022-mitsubishi-outlander-nissan-rogue-similarities-differences/

Too much money for a simple moka pot, although the color is pretty nice. Buyer beware, stovetop “espresso” can be great (it helped get me into coffee) but this is not true espresso like you’d get from a nice cafe.

I feel that Cheez-Its are far superior, having grown up on Goldfish.

That’s been my stance since gas hit $4 per gallon in the 2000s and then dipped back below $2 for a while. Hold it around $3.00-3.25 per gallon and build a slush fund to offset price spikes. Volatility in that marketplace definitely harms consumers and makes budgeting unnecessarily difficult.

Is that autonomous ship complete uncrewed? Or does it just remove the need for skilled crew?

Active cruise control on a big chromed cruiser. What a time to be alive.

I’d throw Saab into the ring. They were developing engines and technology used in the rest of the GM lineup when the Great Recession hit and got the axe because of it. The Saab-developed 2.8T V6 was also used in the more popular Cadillac SRX.

I read your post yesterday and tried the Bojangles sandwich last night. Holy sh*t, that is one killer sandwich. I’m indebted to you.

I tried the new Bojangles sandwich last night, it was perfection. I was a Popeyes evangelist before that and now I’m questioning everything.

What is known about Friedrich Geiger, who designed the car? Its a subjectively stunning and dramatic design, which explains its appeal. The restoration shop also did an amazing job, and deserves recognition for that if nothing else.

I think this is very cool, and it seems like even small vehicles could tow a good sized trailer because it assists with power and braking.

My favorite was from LAX up to the Angeles Crest Highway, through the canyons, over to Big Bear Lake, down to Palm Desert, around to Mt. Palomar, and then back up the coast.

I mean wasteful with regards to turning 50 perfectly good oil filters, each of which could have spent half a year being used as intended, into landfill material. That said, I also enjoy excess. Hopefully these were recycled somehow.

Filters aren’t going to undo the effects of heat on the oil, and that concept isn’t exactly revelatory...

It depends on the prefix for Snell. There are certs that begin with “SA” for cars, and “M” for motorcycles. For example, SA2020 vs M2020.
